| Boomerangs are curved, sharp-edged throwing weapons usually made of wood or bone. Primarily used by the Dokken, These unusual weapons are designed to return to the wielder if thrown correctly. It takes major skill to use a boomerang effectively. To have one actually hit the target simply requires a successful attack roll; but to have one return as it is intended requires an additional Dexterity Check (DC 20).
Weapon focus on the boomerang will drop the DC to a 17 and weapon specialization by a fighter drops the DC another 3 points. Dokken receive a +2 racial bonus to their attack roll when employing a boomerang and the DC for having it return automatically drops to 14. |
