As per the light spell this spell causes an object to glow shedding a ghostly blue light in a 20 foot radius from the point that the caster touched. Unlike the light spell all creatures without darkvision can see just fine within the lights 20 foot radius, while creatures that possess darkvision are cast into darkness. For creatures with darkvision it is as though they lost their darkvision and they are unable to see with the use of the Light of Darkness spell. If they have their own source of light (torch, lantern, etc.) then they can use that source of light to see again. Creatures outside of the 20 foot radius are unaffected by the light and are unable to see the blue glow that the spell gives off.
