Hobgoblin, Common |
When Goldwood Arley is around he is a completely different hobgoblin. He is overly friendly to Goldwood, to the point of being considered a sycophant. Goldwood himself treats the hobgoblin with the same arrogance that Groak treats his goblins - though Goldwood considers the goblin slaves completely beneath his notice. It is almost comical to watch the large barbaric hobgoblin pamper and placate his master.
Klacktoc Gearticker is treated with indifference by Groak. Though Klacktoc is not a slave his small stature makes the hobgoblin consider the gnome beneath him. However, Groak is wise enough not to get into any direct confrontation with Klacktoc for fear of what Goldwood Arly might do to him.
Groak treats all other citizens of Crowley with almost the same indifference that he treats Klacktoc. The only exceptions are the few friends of Goldwood. Groak treats these people as he does Goldwood. Another exception are the people that Groak thinks could beat him in a fight. He is a large and fierce hobgoblin, but at heart he is just a bully.
