| Chitinous armor is fashioned by the Eldabon elves of Oakenvale from the discarded exoskeleton of the Entawynn larvae. The chitin is extremely durable and light weight, but no others can seem to fashion it the way the elves do. They form it into a type of scale mail using thick leaves and sap as a base on which to apply the chitin. The chitin emits a faint greenish glow at night due to its chemical make-up. |

| This is a coat and skirt of sharkskin covered with sea shells. The coat front is actually one piece, being the shell of a sea turtle, while the rest of the suit is overlapping pieces of sea shells. This armor includes shoulder protection made from conch shells. It is used mainly by the sea dwarves, but some sahuagin have started imitating the armor. |
