The Ageehan is the mount of choice across the face of Terragloria. It is a bird that resembles a large emu. The bird has a fine coat of feathers over it's entire body. The feathers can come in almost any color and often has beautiful patterns. Ranchers often concentrate on breeding the ageehan to produce the beautiful patterns in order to up the value of his ageehan stock.
The ageehan are fast and reliable mounts, able to leap 10 to 15 feet into the air, easily avoiding most obstacles. They are often a contrary bird, but once broken in they make excellent mounts.
COMBAT
The ageehan are agressive creatures in the wild and will battle most creatures in their territory. Their kick attack is the attack of choice by most ageehan, bot wild and domesticated. Often domesticated war ageehans are fitted with sharp metal spurs to increase the damage of their kick and double kick attack by 1d6+2.
EXTRAORDINARY
Double Kick (Ex): An ageehan can leap into the air and land on a large size and smaller opponent and attack with both feet in a round. During this attack the rider give up his attack but the ageehan recieves two kick attacks that turn.
SOCIETY
In the wild the ageehan all follow an alpha male who directs the flock. This male has his choice of food, drink, and mating over every other animal in the flock. Upon the death of the alpha the next toughest ageehan in line is given the post of alpha. Often the alphas have to fight to hold on to this possition and prove themselves.
